Psychology of the Murtad

After bismillah, I start with the Ayah:

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱرْتَدُّوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ أَدْبَـٰرِهِم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلْهُدَى ۙ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ سَوَّلَ لَهُمْ وَأَمْلَىٰ لَهُمْ

Indeed, those who reverted back [to disbelief] after guidance had become clear to them – Satan enticed them and prolonged hope for them.Surah Muhammad, Ayah 25

I was reading this Ayah, and I thought that writing a post on this topic would be a good idea. However, after that, I saw a post by a brother on Telegram, and I do not think I need to add alot to it.

What I will say before:

Ex-Muslims always have an emotional argument, which does not challenge the authenticity of the religion. It is always that the sins are beautified for them by a Western Environment filled with the influence of Satan, which we know is the cause of all evil. They go to a Kafir school, a Kafir college, a Kafir work environment, fall in love with a sin, whether it is Zinā or Khamr or the doing of Qawm Lut. Allāh ﷻ clearly spoke the truth saying this.

Imam Ibn Kathīr رحمه الله says in his Tafsīr:

(…after guidance had become clear to them — Shaytan has enticed them) meaning he adorned and beautified that (apostasy) for them.

(and filled them with false hopes.) meaning, he tempted them, and deceived them.Tafsīr Ibn Kathīr Abridged (Darussalam), Volume 9, Page 112

And I will end with the Ayah (before I post the text of this brother on Telegram:

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَمْ يَكُ مُغَيِّرًۭا نِّعْمَةً أَنْعَمَهَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا۟ مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ ۙ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌۭ

That is because Allāh would not change a favor which He had bestowed upon a people until they change what is within themselves. And indeed, Allāh is Hearing and Knowing.Surah Al Anfal, Ayah 53

We start with the speech of the brother, in sha’a Allah:

The Psychology of ex-Muslims.

The so-called “empowered” and “free-minded” rebels who kill themselves before the “terrorists” can kill them.

Seriously, you’d be surprised to find out that the majority of ex-Muslim deaths aren’t caused by extremists, but rather by ex-Muslims themselves! Many of whom sought “asylum” in the west from the brutal “extremism”, yet end up hanging themselves. How ironic. You wanted to escape from death, and you wanted to escape from your depression – but you wound up more depressed and more suicidal than you were before! It’s just as Allah, تبارك وتعالى، said:

“But whoever turns away from My Reminder will certainly have a miserable life, then We will raise them up blind on the Day of Judgment.” (20:124).

Without Allah, without a clear purpose in life — when all you have keeping you alive is your hedonistic urges, it won’t be long until you lose your mind. No amount of money can buy away your misery, no drug can drown out the cries of your aching heart. Everything you do to distract yourself will eventually disappear and vanish before your eyes – leaving you alone, to sit and reflect on your crime against Allah.

The vast majority of these murtaddin were abused growing up, another reason why they don’t really think twice before killing themselves. They don’t have a family to support, nor do they have to worry about their parents grieving about their death. Subhan’ALLAH, how many times do we hear from them “My dad beat me”, “My mother smacked me”, “My parents ignored me”, it’s always connected to their family. Even the more famous ones, like Apus has mentioned how his father’s actions made him hate the religion. It should be made clear that these people are broken, and they have been broken for a long time. And chances are, they will lie and say “I’m happy to be free”, but have slits and cuts all over there arms and legs. This really shows your freedom after leaving the truth to go and submit to Satan. So, a couple of things we can take away from observing them:

[1] – Treat your children with love & affection, give them attention when they need it, discipline them when they’ve done wrong, and raise them in a way to that they grow up loving this religion.

[2] – Don’t take ex-Muslims too seriously, and don’t waste too much time on them either. They’re either mentally ill, a victim of abuse (feminists), or a hindu larper. I’m sure you’ve noticed, but the ex-Muslim movement has become kind of a laughing stock in recent years, so it’s not high on the priority list in terms of refutations and giving da’wah.

[3] – Recognize the signs of an ex-Muslim (feminism, liberalism, joking about the religion), if your close friend or family member seems to be showing these signs, then work on convincing them otherwise. And if you’ve tried for a long time and given it lots of effort, yet they still don’t believe – then cut them out from your life and tell others to do the same, we cannot let our communities be influenced by such ignorant and filthy people.

That’s all for now, obviously there is a lot to be discussed regarding this topic. I think it would be a good idea to analyze the psychology and blunders of each “famous” ex-Muslim, proving how mentally ill they are & turning them into a joke. Thus, delegitimizing them and preventing them from gaining any more traction. And Allah certainly knows best.”
